Charlie Marno is a character in the episode "Dead Right". A fat man who fell in love with Cathy, the secretary married him for a perceived inheritance and later divorced him when she won a million dollars. Enraged by her decision to leave him, Charlie stabbed her to death and was later convicted of her murder and executed.

He is portrayed by Jefferey Tambor.

Early Life[]

Charlie met a woman named Cathy Finch at a hostess bar and fell in love with her. Though Cathy was disgusted by his appearance, she pursued a relationship with him anyway because a medium predicted that she would marry a fat man that would inherit a large sum of money, then die.

Crime[]

Returning at their home and determined to divorce him after winning a large sum of money, Cathy showed her real face by insulting Charlie and calling him a "fat disgusting slob." Sincerely saddened and shocked by the woman, Charlie become psychotic and stabs her to death with a butcher knife, saying " If I can't have you, nobody can."

Fate[]

Charlie is arrested and soon convicted of second-degree murder. He is sentenced to the electric chair at the state penitentiary. A news report says that Charlie is being executed for Cathy's killing, which is watched on television by Madame Vorna.
